  • I have to give it 5 stars. I mean, the collection is insane. This is on my top 3 museums globally. However, it is a lot. You will get super tired and spend a lot of time if you like art. I would recommend starting from up to down and taking a break to grab something to eat on the cafe or the rooftop. I was short in time so I did not do that and I was mentally exhausted by the time I left. The store is good but lacks a bit of variety in the cheap souvenirs. I am old fashioned in museums and would rather have a printed map. Global students pay half price ($14). Student ID is required but they did not look mine particularly. It was busy in a Tuesday so I can only imagine the weekend. Still completely comfortable to walk through and no line at any moment.
  • The first Friday of the month is free for local New Yorkers to visit but you need to book the tickets in advance. Also they have free pen and paper and even chairs for visitors to participate drawing. The terrace cafe was pretty good. In the evening they have DJ music and open bar in the garden. It was very chill and fun. I love the activities and interaction that they offered. I like this museum better than Guggenheim.
