Often called "Kastropolis" because of its majestic Venetian castle, Corfu Town once featured such extensive fortifications that a force of over 20,000 soldiers defended them.
Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Sun): surround yourself with nature on Madalena Boat Trips, then see the interesting displays at Achilleion Museum, and then view the masterpieces at Tsami Ceramics. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 3rd (Mon): expand your understanding of the military at Old Fortress Corfu, stop by Patounis Soap Factory, then step into the grandiose world of New Fortress, and finally admire the landmark architecture of Corfu Museum of Asian Art.
