One of the world's most ancient cities, Athens remains Europe's undisputed historical and cultural capital.

Step off the beaten path and head to Temple of Poseidon and Temple of Olympian Zeus. Change things up with these side-trips from Athens: Schinias Beach (in Marathon), Marathon Beach (in Nea Makri) and Donkeysland (in Koropi).
