One of the world's most ancient cities, Athens remains Europe's undisputed historical and cultural capital.

Aegina — 3 nights

Aegina is one of the Saronic Islands of Greece in the Saronic Gulf, 27km from Athens. Start off your visit on the 21st (Sun): kick back and relax at Moni Island Beach, see the interesting displays at Historical & Folklore Museum of Aegina, then stop by Mourtzis Traditional Sweets, and finally steep yourself in history at Temple of Aphaia. Keep things going the next day: look for all kinds of wild species at EKPAZ - Hellenic Wildlife Hospital ( But Not Functioning ), explore the ancient world of Temple of Apollo, then enjoy the sand and surf at Paralia Marathona, and finally don't miss a visit to Monastery of Saint Nectarios.
