Nagarkot — 1 night

Nagarkot is a former Village Development Committee located 32 km east of Kathmandu, Nepal in Bhaktapur District in the Bagmati Zone and as of 2015 part of Nagarkot Municipality. Kick off your visit on the 1st (Fri): admire the artistry at Sunapati Thanka Painting School and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Changu Narayan. Keep things going the next day: look for gifts at Peacock Shop and then don't miss a visit to Taumadhi Square.
