One of the world's most ancient cities, Athens remains Europe's undisputed historical and cultural capital.

Take a break from Athens with a short trip to Archaeological Site Mycenae in Mycenae, about 1h 30 min away. There's still lots to do: steep yourself in history at Acropolis of Athens, visit Plaka, get engrossed in the history at National Archaeological Museum, and take a stroll through Monastiraki.
