One of the world's most ancient cities, Athens remains Europe's undisputed historical and cultural capital.
Step off the beaten path and head to Church of Kapnikarea and Metamorphosis. Get a sense of the local culture at Acropolis of Athens and National Archaeological Museum. There's lots more to do: visit Plaka, kick back and relax at Glyfada Beach, admire the landmark architecture of Syntagma Station, and delve into the distant past at Temple of Olympian Zeus.

Wine Island
