Our guide gave a wonderful explanation about the lights. He lit a fire for us and there was hot chocolate offered. We saw the aurora dancing in the sky. It really is something I will remember for the rest of my life.

What a fantastic place! We arrived early for our viewing time but were welcomed straight away by our guide, who was so helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed learning about what to look out for during the tour, which really helped with spotting the faint beginnings of the aurora later in the night. We got to relax in the warm, cozy doom while waited and after an hour or so we finally got to see them! Totally spectacular! The Aurora Basecamp was a magical place to watch it.
