  • This unfinished temple is exceptional and breathtaking when you realize it was built in 530 BC. We arrived just in time for sunset and it was spectacular. You cannot miss this.

  • Short 5-10 walk to this 2000+ year old Portara. Walking around it, admiring the size of the stone portal gives you a humble feeling. Beautiful views out onto the sea and onto town. Come early for...

  • the most admired attraction in the city. The reason is simple the place has a chunk of history, art and culture to it, adhering to its old legacy and mystique. The place is actually a ruin of Apollo’s temple, the god of sun & light, that casts a dramatic frame of ancient collonaded against the blue of the sky.
  • The symbol of the island of Naxos. It is an impressive main gate with large pillars of stone. It is a short climb around up and you can walk around. It is popular with sunset seekers but it can get very busy, so get there earlier for a good spot.
