Venetsanos Winery
Poised on top of a cliff overlooking the rocky Aegean coastline, Venetsanos Winery remains a distinguished family-run operation in business since 1947. Inside the historic winery built into the cliffs to avoid disrupting the natural landscape you can take a guided tour of the production process. While surveying the romantic panorama surrounding the winery, you can sample dessert whites and rich tannic reds accompanied with well-paired meats and cheeses. Round off your visit with a trip to the gift shop, where you can purchase a bottle of your favorite wine. Venetsanos Winery is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , online itinerary creator Edition.

My partner and I knew we had to try at least one winery when in Santorini, so based on a locals recommendation we went here. What I liked was that there was ample parking firstly, and you can order wine by the glass (average €10), and it's a decent pour size compared to other wineries I've been to. You don't necessarily have to do a tasting of €26 if you don't want to. Unfortunately we couldn't sit outside as it was one of the windiest days in Santorini - but we were able to go outside once we were done our wine to snap some photos before leaving. While I'd like to have brought a bottle back home, I found the average bottle price to be a bit steep (average €30). Nonetheless I do recommend visiting still for a tasting and great views!

Incredible views and wine! The wind was a bit of a challenge, but overall you should visit this incredible location if not for the experience alone. The 4 wine tasting and the tasting plate was just right. They had great knowledge.
