A charming old city originally founded as a Roman colony, Valencia is the country’s third-largest urban center.
On the 27th (Tue), shop like a local with Botique Museo Lladro. On the 28th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: see the interesting displays at El Museo Nacional de Ceramica y de las Artes Suntuarias Gonzalez Marti, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Real Colegio Seminario de Corpus Christi, take an in-depth tour of Centre Arqueològic de l'Almoina, examine the collection at Museu Faller de Valencia, thencontemplate in the serene atmosphere at Chapel of the Holy Grail, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Santa Catalina Church (Iglesia de Santa Catalina).

You can take a train from Madrid to Valencia in 2.5 hours. Other options are to fly; or drive.
