Appreciate the collections at Acropolis Museum and National Archaeological Museum. Get a sense of the local culture at Acropolis of Athens and Ancient Agora of Athens. Archaeological Site Mycenae and Nauplion Promenade will appeal to history buffs. Do some cultural sightseeing at The Great Theatre of Epidaurus and Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation. Venture out of the city with trips to Astros Beach (in Paralio Astros) and Arkadiko Bridge (in Mycenae). The gateway to one of the largest monastery complexes in Greece, the small town of Kalambaka nestles against a landscape of imposing rock formations rising 400 m (1,300 ft) into the air. Nearly leveled during World War II, the town rebuilt and reinvented itself in the post-war period, quickly becoming one of the region's major travel destinations.
On the 8th (Sun), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Meteora, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Holy Trinity Monastery (Agia Triada), then take in the spiritual surroundings of Monastery of the Great Meteoron, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Varlaam Monastery.

You can drive from Nafplio to Kalambaka in 5.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of bus, flight, and car; or do a combination of bus and train. In March in Kalambaka, expect temperatures between 15°C during the day and 3°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Sun) early enough to travel to Dubrovnik.
