  • Worst dance studio I've ever danced in. Talented teachers but their skills are overshadowed by poor business practices and lack of professionalism. The studio is extremely small with only three rooms (one medium and two small) on the ground floor of a building built in 1900. It has a toilet for boys and one for girls, in which you can not throw toilet paper and often clog leaving puddles on the floor. Several of my classes were crowded with 20-30+ students and there was not enough room to move around. Please note that there are no windows or air conditioning in the rooms. There are only fans and some teachers refuse to turn them on. They're industrial and they make a lot of noise. Teachers have to play the music at full volume and shout. The rooms are heated and smell so much that several go out to breathe fresh air. Many times I felt dizzy and about to pass out. There are no water sources. Pretty cheeky of his part selling water bottles in this state. Sometimes teachers had to scrub the floor because they start to slip through sweat. Even a student in my class bled through my nose! When I informed the principal, she replied "It's nothing." It is also not sanitary as there is a lot of hair and dust on the floor and exercises require you to lie down. There is mold growing on the ceiling in the small room. With such health risk, it's surprising that it doesn't provide me with any appropriate legal form about bodily injury and liability. I paid 333 euros a month for his vocational training. An absolute robbery. We had to take regular classes with the other clients. There was no individualized attention. Some teachers in my classes humiliated and punished students to correct their dancing or behavior. One insulted a classmate in my class in front of us about her small size. I told the principal that I was concerned about these negative messages, especially about body image, that the study is showing these teens. He replied that he found nothing wrong with these strategies and that the student deserved it because he was not paying enough attention. It's a shame to say all this because other teachers like Chiara and Rocío are professionals. Teachers change all the time and there are several substitutes. Most people try to cover too much of a lesson. I would not recommend this study for beginners because teachers focus and praise only those who are excellent. Some teachers waste time lecturing on staying positive without taking into account that perhaps the poor state of the halls is what is lowering morale. One of my teachers had a tendency to make choreographies of songs that glorify the sexual objectivity of women. A song he chose for one of my classes in which most were young girls was too sexually explicit. At the beginning of the training, the principal assured me that the size of the classes would decrease. A month later, they had even added a few more students to the already crowded classes, when I asked how they plan to improve conditions, he invited me without much touch to drop out of classes. There were 11 people in my training group. There are some groups, but only with me, the studio would earn about 36,630 euros in a year. I'm surprised you can't use a portion of this money to renovate your studio or look for other facilities that are more suitable.
