Il giardino botanico si trova di fianco al prado sulla via che porta al reina Sofia e alla stazione di atocha. L’ingresso costa 6€ per gli adulti e 4€ per gli studenti under 26. Purtroppo io l’ho visi... more »The Botanical Garden is located adjacent to the prado on the path leading to the reina Sofia and the atocha station. Entrance fee is €6 for adults and €4 for students under 26. Unfortunately I have visited in the fall during a rainy day and didn't make much but struck me particularly bonsai exhibition. Recommended visit.
Visiting during March leaves you with a barely there garden, just waking up. The greenhouse, however, is worth the trip entirely. I would've sat in the jungle there for hours. There's also a desert area. It was breathtaking and I can only imagine how the garden would be in full bloom
If you like plants then this would be your place to go however we went in March and naturally there wasn't much to see. It would be lovely in full bloom though and at only 4 euros it makes a nice break from a busy Madrid
