  • Cloistered monastery and therefore closed to the public, as is normally the annexed church; The latter, however, can be seen if you come here to listen to the SS. Mass, which takes place all days. Monday to Saturday at 8 a.m. Externally the entrance of the church appears modest, what distinguishes the building is the large dome, visible even from a distance. Entered you are surprised by the small dimensions, with a short aisle and a transect just mentioned (the 2 arms can be considered as 2 chapels); On the cruise, however, looms the large dome that characterizes all the architecture of the church. From the artistic point of view we can point out the majesty of the main altar that rises on the presbytery, made of gilded wood with some polychrome parts; in front of the Eukaryemic canteen, embellished with the use of golden metal and mirrors. It is definitely not a tourist church, but coming here to listen to the SS. Mass can also be a special experience, for the environment collected and because the readings and songs are performed by the cloistered nuns, whose voices are heard but you do not see the figures , hidden behind a grate. The monastery is located on the street of the same name in the Lavapies district.
