The Real Casa de la Aduana (Spanish: Real Casa de la Aduana means royal customs house) is the headquarters of Spain's Ministry of Economy and Ministry of the Treasury.

It is located on Madrid's longest street, the Calle de Alcalá.


The eighteenth-century building has been modified over the years. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1998.

  • Real Casa De La Aduana is a beautiful building along Calle De Alcala, it's not a must go tourist site but it has Historic importance, constructed during Carlos III reign known as " The Enlightenment.....  more »
  • Puerta del Sol is a short walk along Via Alcala. I got a calm impression of European stone.

Former Customs House and current Ministry of Finance.. It Has a museum area that you can visit... Spectacular dome of the library.. The underserves still preserve practically its original state and has a good archive of incunabula.
