  • It is a Renaissance bridge, the work of the architect Juan de Herrera. Formerly known as "Segovian Bridge". It has fonts on both sides. The area has gained a lot with the Madrid Rio linear park, burying the M30 and breathing a more healthy air.

  • The bridge of Segovia crosses the river Manzanares on the Paseo de la Virgem del Puerto, being one of the accesses to the city. It is the oldest bridge in Madrid and is a well of Cultural interest. It's well preserved. It's worth meeting her.

  • I was really surprised to see how beautiful and clean looking the water was. The plants are so lush in the middle of summer too. We scooted around for a while up and down the river and the bridge was a nice highlight. HOT TIP - I would be careful which scooter or bike you choose and some companies will limit the speed you can do. Mine went for 20km to 5km and it was not worth using.
  • It's a must if you have already seen the Royal Palace before. It's just 1km apart. It's perfect for a relaxing walk due to the park right next to it.
