When touring Madrid, you’ll end up at Plaza de Espana Madrid-- whether you want to or not. It lies on one of the city’s main traffic arteries, in close proximity to other major destinations. Fortunately, the monument to Miguel de Cervantes makes your visit worthwhile. Serving as the plaza’s centerpiece, this architect-designed statue of the writer himself, Don Quixote and his true loves, and his sidekick Sancho Panza is impressive. Join other tourists in taking your picture with these literary figures. Plan my trip to Madrid with suggested itineraries provided by Inspirock.

We stayed near by this place in Madrid for two nights. You will find almost all type of restaurants around this place. All the monuments are easily reachable within 10 minutes using metro. One can buy a Madrid day ticket for 8,90€ that is sufficient to cover all the monuments. Specifically English brunch served around is awesome.
A great place to enjoy Madrid city life! It's a known place to sit in the grass and enjoy sharing a nice day with friends. A bit too crowded sometimes, for my own taste, but still a great place!
