  • The church dates back to the early 1930s. Its facade, in my opinion very pleasant, in a style that partly recalls the neo-Gothic, is narrow but surrounded by 2 crenellated towers and is difficult to detect, both because it is similar in the forms to the long profile of the building that is located at its dx, and because it is closer to the entrance to a castle or an important palace than to a church. The most important exterior feature, however, is not immediately visible in its vicinity: it is in fact the multicolored dome, unique in Madrid, visible from different points of the city, moving sufficiently away from the church. The interior (in the classic scheme of the Latin cross), is artistically modest, but particular are the matronei, which reminded me of the stages of a theater (under the matronei run the 2 side aisles, much narrower than the center aisle and, of course, from the ceiling much lower); the interior view of the dome is also pleasant. Opening hours from 8.15am to 1.30pm and 5.30pm to 8.30pm. The SS. Masses are at 8.30, 12.30 and 19.30 of the dds. 9:30 a.m., 11.30a, 12.30, 1.30pm and 7.30pm on holidays. We stayed here in a d. just before 8.30am and the SS. Mass that began at that time did not prevent the tourist visit because it took place in a small environment separated from the church.

  • This church is located near the Plaza de España. It is a complex that houses the residence of the religious community, a home for the elderly and the church itself. The façade resembles a medieval fortress and the dome is covered with colourful mosaics. It is well preserved and is a well of Cultural interest.

  • Carmelites' church, with excellent pastoral care. It has a very active community assisting to those more needed. Inspiring retreats each month and very nice setting near Rosales.
  • At the heart of Madrid and very conducive for prayer.
