Sample that singular Spanish delicacy, ham, at Museo del Jamon. This Madrid-based chain restaurant serves a vast array of ham dishes to enjoy amongst a bustle of people and a bevy of hams that hang from the ceiling. If you’re not a fan of the restaurant's specialty, try one of the other traditional dishes on the menu, such as paella or a plate of local cheeses. Browse the restaurant’s deli to buy ham, bread, or pastries to take with you. Make your Madrid itinerary with Inspirock to find out what to see and where to go.

  • I was going with the opinion that it wasn't worth getting in; because of location issues I was starving at about half a day and I decided to go in. The truth is that it is good choice for price and quality; have different calides on hams and whatever it is is good; eating at the bar is a good experience of seeing all the operation and people coming in. We got a very good waiter at the bar, nice, fun and gave us some empanadas to try them. They give you bread to make your own tapas. I recommend it for cold meats, choice as lunch or snacks or to snack something fast. An assortment of Iberians, accompanied by a cane and you will be perfectly satisfied.

  • The Ham Museum is a must-see in the center of Madrid, we have the largest variety of hams, taking some reeds with Iberian ham should be a mandatory passing point

  • It's a great place for tourists. To try tapas and try different kind of jamón (ham) and cheese. You can eat there at bar with a drink or you can get vacuum packed to bring back home. A must visit place.
  • We ate here twice during our short 3 day stay in the city – once in the dining room on the upper level and second in the bar on the main level. The food on the upper level was down to earth and moderately priced, yet pretty decent. The place was more spacious than it looked from the outside, and the dining area was very cozy and less crowded compared to the busy bar below. We were able to try some of the local dishes with wine and beer. The service wasn’t the friendliest, but prompt and attentive. On the next day, we dropped in the bar for a quick bite. The bar was bustling even well before the lunch hour, with both locals and tourists. Both the prices for the food and beer were very budget friendly. The service was very prompt.
