  • A monument commemorating the fallen of the 1906 attack on the Spanish royals by the anarchist Mateo Morral, the latter's intention was to kill King Alfonso XIII, but he, along with his newly married wife Victoria Eugenia, came out unscathed 28 people died. In memory of these victims in 1963, this statue was placed, in the square in front of the church of the Sacramento (or cathedral of the Armed Forces) and next to the palace of the Dukes of Uceda. Bronze statue depicting an angel: apart from the sad story of death it represents, from a tourist point of view there is not much to say. In front of the statue, on the other side of Calle Mayor, there is the palace (remained as at the time) from which the anarchist dropped the bomb (Cyriac house).

  • This bronze statue is located on Calle Mayor, on the edge of the sidewalk, opposite the Cathedral of the armed forces. The monument is small, but it has a great meaning, because it is dedicated to the victims of the bombing that King Alfonso XIII suffered. The king left unharmed, but 28 people died.

  • This monument stands in tribute to the victim of a bomb intended for Queen Victoria Eugenia and King Alfonso XIII on the occasion of their wedding parade. Instead, the bomb exploded into a crowd that were watching the royal carriage. This monument is actually the second such monument, the original having been dismantled. The current monument is a bronze sculpture of an angel kneeling on one knee, holding a scroll in his hands. The sculpture sits atop a granite pedestal, on which is written the words "In memory of the victims of the attack against Their Majesties Don Alfonso XIII and Doña Victoria Eugenie on 31 May 1906". The statue is easy to miss as it's well away from the main tourist attractions and not that obvious even from the main road. Not a must see, but it's a moving tribute and worth a quick look if in the area.
  • There's statue of a grieving angel and a sign that reminds of a failed assassination on king and queen of Spain.
