  • Maybe it's because of the expectations generated, but the show has left me a little cold. The staging is spectacular: props, sets, set of lights and especially the changing rooms. However, anodyne dialogues are abused and the voice of one of the main protagonists is not in keeping with the high price of the tickets. Finally, the comfort of the theatre leaves much to be desired: unbearable heat, tiny armchairs and exorbitant bar prices.

  • We came from Gran Canaria especially to see the musical of El Rey Leon, when we arrived at the Lope de Vega theater the queue that was to enter was around the corner, was very long and that we arrived half an hour before, we were not afraid walks very fast we did not take 10 minutes not long cough in. We moved on to the musical, from the beginning to the end, we were with the hairs of the tip, one song after another and each performance exceeded our expectations, although it is true that they have their own lyrics and also give them another touch to the staging, the children who act as Simba and Nala embroider it, as well as Skar, Zazu, Timon and Pumba and the hyenas, actors! The lights, the music and the whole cast of perfect dancers!¡ But not everything is going to be positive in this musical, when I walk into the theater and sit down, (I measure 1.90) I didn't fit in the seat as my legs bumped if or if against the front seat , I was quite uncomfortable, the sales of food and drink are an armed hand heist, soft drinks at 6o, threads at 9o and a bottle of small water at 3o, as a positive point allow to bring food and drink from outside. Summary, the musical is worth the euros it costs, but they could catch a more suitable and more modern theater with the money they make daily and don't think about buying something there because it will cost them a distaste.
