In El Arco Artesanía we have twenty-five years getting the modern spanish craft to the old town of Madrid, specifically in the mythical Arco de Cuchilleros, in Plaza Mayor of our capital. There our craftsmen have a fixed place where exhibit their works that come from different points in the whole of Spain. We have over sixty workshops of small production, many times one person, that perform crafted their own designs, creating unique pieces or limited series in materials such as iron, glass, ceramics, cardboard, or silver, looking for innovation within the craft. Jewelry, silks, lamps, figurines, fans, bags and other decorative or utilitarian objects to which they were united by a passion for the authenticity and the personality that added that are hand-made and that, in turn, makes them unique. This passion leads us to renew constantly, you can always find new products and artists among our colorful walls. We invite you to know and experience it for yourselves. We are committed to quality and know-how of our craftsmen, we lead since 1991 the "Made in Spain" brand and we pay special attention to the selection of products based on its originality, artistic quality and materials, pillars of the philosophy of the company. For this reason we visited and know personally workshops and craftsmen. Treatment as personal as that we seek with our customers, some of the city itself, a few of visit, other tourists ... , which repeated its view of the shop over time, to our joy. They are the ones that have made us become a bulwark in the small trade.

  • A hidden gem in Madrid. At a corner of Plaza Mayor with a little entrance. Visited 2 years ago and was amazed with the art, especially ceramic art. I went back 2 or 3 times during my Madrid stay and bought a lot. Just love them all. So, watch out your wallet, you might spend more unexpectedly. haha The staff are so kind and patiently wrap each of them nicely and even prepared a tax exemption receipt.
  • Staff is really attentive and patient. Big thanks to Mayte. =^D
