Holmes place Athens Reviews
Let's start with the good... The place is always clean, and i have seen gyms where this is not the case. The location is also good, close to Syntagma Square. The machines and dumbbells are well... more »
This place is located in the center of a very tourist area of Athens that could be priority for visitors & tourists for daily use, also nearby there are hotels that offer high quality services... more »
Definitely overpriced given that their facilities are pretty much average. The gym is quite overcrowded lately and especially during peak times it's almost impossible to train. They're advocating a top level service, however if you are not paying extra (e.g. personal training etc), it's like you do not exist to the trainers. Clean in general. I would not say that it's a bad choice for a gym in the center of Athens, however when you are asking for an 80 euro monthly subscription (available only if you commit for an annual contract), I believe that you have to offer much more and treat your members equally.
A well stocked gym that offers more than pretty much every other gym close by. We took a weekly pass for €50 which we made the most of through more than a few visits (helpful after indulging in the fantastic food this city has to offer). Aside from the indoor pool and large gym, they have one squat rack and one smith machine if those are important to you.
